Fertilizer and Corrosion Posted on 19 Jun 09:21

When I was working as a consulting engineer in the field writing a due diligence report for a property that was occupied by a lawn fertilizer company, I noticed severe corrosion damage on many areas of the property.  I particularly noticed severe corrosion to lighting panels, conduits, and metal overhead doors.

When looking further up at the lighting fixtures, I noticed corrosion attacking the overhead structural beams. This type of damage results in a costly rebuild of the interior space and could have been prevented by application of an appropriate rust inhibitor, like Corrosion Block. This is a big situation with many companies, and especially wind farms, and any other useful utility/business that occupies space previously used by fertilizer companies.

With corrosion damage reaching one trillion dollars a year in the United States alone, it makes perfect sense to prevent corrosion damage early on in lieu of paying the cost of repair and or replacement.

And keep in mind, for many other applications like PC boards, switchgears, and electrical harnesses, Corrosion Block Liquid is the perfect corrosion inhibitor.  It has a 40KV dielectric strength and can be used on any high voltage system.
